The German Aerospace Industries Association (Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie e.V. – BDLI) with more than 220 members represents the interests of an industrial sector, which owing to international technology leadership and worldwide success has become a significant driver of economic growth in Germany. Combining almost all strategic key technologies, the German aerospace industry with a directly employed labor force of around 105,700, achieves an annual turnover of currently Euro 32.1 billion. Communication with political institutions, authorities, associations and foreign representations in Germany is a major task of the BDLI, as well as a variety of services in Germany and abroad for its members. The BDLI is trade owner of the ILA Berlin Air Show International Aerospace Exhibition. The BDLI is officially accredited to the German Bundestag where it performs specific, legally embodied tasks. The BDLI is a member of the European umbrella organization ASD, AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe, and the Federation of German Industries (Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie – BDI).











Niedersachsen Aviation is the network for the promotion of the aviation and aerospace industry in Northern Germany. Niedersachsen is northern Germany’s focal point for general aviation. Supported by the excellent infrastructure available to the industry, numerous successful companies are located here. The goal is to strengthen and enhance the national and international competitiveness of Niedersachsen. Niedersachsen offers a very broad spectrum of services uniting the most varied competencies of the entire mobility economy. Innovative networks between the economy, science and politics thereby ensure an efficient and effective know-how transfer between the competence leaders in the economy and science.









ALROUND is a consortium of companies and research institutes in the aviation and aerospace industry. ALROUND is the focal contact point for entrepreneurs in all business matters, from the representation of interests to individual support. The aim of ALROUND is to promote common interests among its members and third parties, including cross-sector research and development projects in the fields of aviation, aerospace, and other technology areas in which the members have special qualifications in particular. ALROUND sees its role in supporting especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on their way from "parts supplier" to "problem solver". One of the focal points of ALROUND is the organisation of group pavilions on aviation and aerospace exhibitions in Germany and abroad.











The aerospace industry is an important economic factor in Baden-Württemberg (a “Bundesland” of Germany, comparable to the American states). Both leading global and SMEs operate from various locations in Baden-Württemberg. The Forum Aerospace Baden-Württemberg e.V. (LR BW) is the representative body of the aerospace industry in the southwest of Germany. With its members, it is the link between business, academia and policy makers, and other relevant groups in society.
