The “Geschäftsanbahnung, Business Development Trip”, is an organized business visit for a delegation of 12 German companies as part of a project from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. These highly innovative and technologically-advanced German companies from the Machinery Construction sector are looking for American business partners, partners of cooperation and want to present their companies, technologies and products to an American audience, all under the brand “Made in Germany”.

In collaboration with the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC Midwest) SBS systems for business solutions is organizing a Business Development Trip to the Midwest of the USA, specifically Detroit (focus on automotive) and Chicago (focus on food processing), in October 2015. A Business Delegation of 12 German companies from various fields of Machinery Constrction (see List of participants) will be travelling to the States to participate in 5 days of b2b-meetings, (technical) company visits and information events.

The German Delegation visiting the States from October 5th to 9th 2015, has been carefully selected by the German Federal Ministry through SBS systems for business solutions and the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC Midwest), in order to represent the best of German technology, innovation and know-how.

We are seeking forward-looking American institutions, organisations and companies who are interested in developing future relationships, creating business contacts and co-operations, and meeting potential contractors and suppliers. The delegation is looking forward to meeting YOU! We are looking forward to receiving participations from:
- interesting and renowned associations to participate as a speaker and present to the delegation the reality of the American machinery construction market.
- organisations, companies, and institutions, with genuine interest in meeting the German delegation and participating in the b2b-meetings, networking and talk about potential ways for a German-American cooperation
- organisations, companies, and institutions, wanting to invite the delegation to their HQs for technical visits

October 5th (Detroit) is dedicated to a round table and business meetings, where the German delegation will present their companies, products and technologies and meet American companies and delegates of associations for a first get-together, b2b-meetings, and networking. For American participants, this day will be an excellent way of getting to know new and technically advanced products. Furthermore there will be several interesting discussion panels and speeches about the potential of the Machinary Construction Industry.

If you are an industry association, a decision maker or a potential co-operation partner and are interested in becoming involved in meeting this delegation, please do not hesitate to participate in this renowned project by the German Federal Ministry.

There are no fees for any American participant. However, American participants will need to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses, should these arise.
